Hannah Saffold, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.

My Approach

I‘ve been honored to work with people on their relationship with food and their bodies as a registered dietitian for the past 18 years. While there are common themes, each client is different. My nutrition therapy practice is grounded in patience and trust. I use an individualized approach to support you in building confidence and trust in yourself and your body.

In my practice, you can expect a warm and process-oriented style that addresses your goals. Together we work through roadblocks that have kept you stuck in the past. Nutrition therapy with me is very much a blend of “nutrition” and “therapy.”

In our sessions, you will receive compassionate respectful care that acknowledges you as a whole person. We don’t focus on the number on the scale, but rather how are you taking care of your body with food and living in alignment with your core beliefs and values.

If you feel like you hold beliefs that are no longer serving you, we explore letting them go. This can be a scary process, and also one filled with hope and ultimately freedom.

My love for working with nutrition stems from my core belief in the transformational power of nutrition therapy and personal growth work.

Thank you for considering sharing your nutrition path with me. I am currently seeing nutrition clients in my private practice in the Eugene/Springfield area of Oregon.

Fun Facts about me

My childhood dog was a sweet, ginormous great dane. I played upright bass and performed in my high school dance company. I have two school-aged kids and we went on a year long road trip around the U.S. and Mexico during COVID. I love trail running and hiking, listening to podcasts, dancing, painting, journaling, live music, and being in and around water.
